New Flurry of Visual Identity Hits Topeka’s Newest Christmas Tradition

Another year, another show. The annual Christmas tradition in Topeka, KS continues this weekend with a wine tasting, silent auction, dinner, and concert sponsored by the Notre Dame Club of Eastern Kansas and benefitting the Hayden Catholic High School Music Department and Marian Clinic of Topeka.

After five years, the evening finally has an identity. BELOCK DESIGN introduced a brand new logo for the event, which reflects the memorable and entertaining evening of food, friends and family in a classy snowflake fractal. The type spells out the fact that this is a unique tradition for local and national supporters, benefactors, and performers who all make a pilgrimage of sorts to the city of Topeka, KS the weekend before Christmas.

This year, the hosts sought to create an identity that would establish itself in a new poster design, program layout, table numbers, themes wall and table decorations, silent auction item and bidding sheets, and name placards for every individual guest of the night with a seat in the grand ballroom for the dinner and concert.

Choosing a theme of frames and snowflakes reflects the overwhelming nostalgia that has shaped this event since its inception, when the hosts wanted to give back to their local high school and raise funds for a new piano. Little did they know, the event has  grown into one of Topeka’s finest Christmas traditions, which can now be officially recognized, cherished, and anticipated through its new logo during the rest of the calendar year.
